The “Burden” of Leadership was put together to build a foundation for new Company Officers or Firefighters looking to promote in the next couple of years.  There are two sides of a Company Officer, the Leadership side and the Management side.  It takes the right leader to possess both traits to have a successful organization and a successful Company.  This class shares what’s worked for us, as well as learn about what’s worked for others.  The students will also leave the class with a list of expectations that they build, Company level training ideas, “letter of recommendation” templates, plus much more.

The North Idaho Fire Chief’s Association understands that there are circumstances that are beyond our control and at times plans must be changed because of medical issues and or personal family matters.  If for some reason you cannot attend the course that you have registered for, you shall submit in written form the reason that you will not be able to attend the course, have your department chief or training officer sign the letter and submit this to the North Idaho Chiefs Association ASAP. The North Idaho Chief’s Association shall review each letter and make the determination to refund the registration fee or not.
